Michel and Monique Ligtenberg. Together since 11 years and married since January 2012. Since our youth we both have the dream to live and work in a foreign country. But it had to be somewhere with a lot of sun! Michel (48) has 23 years of hospitality experience in Deventer (The Netherlands) and is a perfect host. Monique (36) studied tourism and has a lot of experience in hotels in the Netherlands and abroad with cooking as big hobby. Already 10 years looking for that one special place for our Bed & Breakfast. Bonaire, many parts of Spain, Costa Rica, but every time it wasn't the 'perfect' place we were looking for. We bought a house in Deventer and decided to put our plans in the fridge for a couple of years. After a busy and emotional year we went on a trip together to Spain to meet some friends. Our friends had an appointment somewhere and asked us to join them. Great idea! We entered the gate of Casa de Orange, looked at each other and knew 'this is it'. Once we found out the casa was for sale we didn't thought for a second and 5 weeks later Casa de Orange was ours! Until now not one second of doubt.

What makes us happy? Making other people happy, giving them a nice stay, spoil them, give them peace and tranquillity and let them enjoy all the beautiful things of Andalusia. Together with our son Jelle (mini-host and absolute nature lover) we have found our dream spot and we hope to welcome you in our paradise.
